Excelyte® is a strong oxidizing solution that kills microorganisms including viruses, mycobacterium and bacteria. Excelyte®may also be beneficial in mitigating mold, mildew, and fungi.
Today, the healthcare system continues to battle treatment-resistant strains of bacteria and viruses, how to effectively treat them, and how to prevent them. Excelyte® eliminates this problem by not only killing the bacteria present, but by disrupting the mitochondrial DNA eliminating any possibility of resistance mutation. The same cannot be said for other chemical biocides, dinsinfectants, and even many antibiotics.

Excelyte® in Hospitals

University General Hospital recently became the first hospital in the nation to utilize Excelyte® as a primary disinfectant. UGH signed a comprehensive agreement to evaluate the disinfecting capabilities of Excelyte® along with the disinfecting products currently in use in selected areas of the hospital, with the anticipation that Excelyte® will ultimately replace all other disinfectants in all areas of the hospital.
Kelly Riedel, CEO of University General Hospital stated, “The benefits we expect to see from using Excelyte® will not only keep the hospital ahead of the curve, but also continue to expand the ways in which the hospital provides the most efficient delivery system for all of our health care services.”
